Aircraft refueling/de-fueling is a crucial maintenance activity that must be performed with the appropriate set of actions and guidelines followed by highly qualified personnel to achieve the goal of meeting the requirements and demands with the least potential of dangerous effects. This procedure not only requires safe practices, but also caution since it involves combustible material. Therefore the first concern is to ensure that the type of fuel to be used is correct, i.e. specified on the AMM. But above all, comply with the fuel safety practices required by aviation authorities.
