Mobile ComputingIn today's society technology is increasingly becoming a part of individuals' daily lives and daily routines much more than before the 21st century (Barnatt). For example; This means that many people no longer buy newspapers at a newsstand, but instead access an online news site using their mobile device to read or find out different information. Additionally, mobile computing will be discussed along with different types of computing devices; such as laptops, smartphones, tablets, iPads and e-book readers. Likewise, the pros and cons will also be discussed, along with the history, and finally why does technology currently play a huge role in the daily lifestyle of different people? In summary, a mobile computer is efficiently any computing device that is not tethered in its location to a desktop or data center (Barnatt). According to researchers, the history of personal computing dates back to the time period of the early 1980s, when mobile computing was high-volume. Most people and business owners purchased desktops because it was the only type of computing device available (Barnatt). PCs took up a lot of space and had to be supported by a desk or something that could support the computer. Computers were huge and required a huge amount of space, but in exchange they allowed people to search the web, instead of having to search through assorted books to find certain information. However, nowadays the size of a desktop is absolutely no longer an issue, because there are different types of mobile devices. Laptops take up much less space and are still able to meet the requirements of a desktop without the hassle of being in the middle of paper......
