Topic > Energy: the importance of energy in the world - 707

We humans use energy in everyday life without energy being present in life. Without energy how will we be able to use transport? No one wants to walk to work or school because it would be a major crisis. Energy is very important for earthly society. The sun's energy gives us sunlight so we can see. When we have been eating energy here for centuries, the word energy even sounds powerful, energy is one of the most powerful things in the world. Energy is the ability to do things like play, run, jog or dance, in other words simply be active. This world is also made of energy. Energy consists of some properties that are very important. Energy cannot be created and cannot be destroyed. Energy can go from one place to another. The two most basic forms of energy are kinetic energy and potential energy. Kinetic energy is energy in motion. Any moving object has kinetic energy. If you quickly rub your hands together and start to feel the heat, this is a great example of kinetic energy. There are many examples of kinetic energy such as throwing a ball, jumping rope, running, playing sports. The forms of kinetic energy are thermal energy, sound energy, electrical energy, and radiant energy. The word thermal in thermal energy means heat and temperature, so all together they mean heat that comes from energy. Conduction, convection and radiation are the types of thermal energy. Conduction occurs when two molecules collide. An example of conduction is a pot on a stove with boiling water. Convection is heat transferred to another object. An example of convection is a pot on a stove with boiling water and bubbles forming. Radiation is energy from the sun. A man stands out in the sun and the sun's rays hit him and he starts to sweat....... center of card......n. When the sun sets, solar radiation is zero. Solar radiation is used in everyday life. There are three types of solar radiation. One type of solar radiation is ultraviolet radiation. Ultraviolet radiation is the wave that we are unable to see. Unlike visible light, visible light helps us see waves. They have rainbow colors. Another type of solar radiation is infrared radiation. Infrared radiation is a wave emitted by many hot things and creates heat in all things it hits. Potential energy is also the energy that can be called into position. For example, if you had an object attached like a rope and you hold it to one side and don't let go, it has the amount of potential energy and if you let it go back and forth that energy changes from potential energy to kinetic energy. Potential energy is used in many ways.
