Now, scientists are learning that social media addiction isn't just triggered by pleasure, but learning and memorizing how to use social media also contributes. The language of messages and how you use application features are ways to keep people interested in social media and ultimately help keep social media sites relevant. While social media addiction can be positive for site owners, the negative aspects of social media addiction on the people who use it can cause escapism, failed personal relationships, and depression.
