The human body is living proof that evolution could never take place in any sense. We are a testimony against evolution. We are an example of why it is impossible for the world to be the result of complete disorder. As? Well, for the next few minutes I'm going to tell you about an important feature of our amazing, God-given bodies. This feature I'm referring to would be the nervous system. The nervous system is made up of two main organs, the brain and the spinal cord. Even though it only has two organs, the effects spread throughout the body, from head to toe. This system, very useful for protecting us, can be attacked by multiple diseases that could turn it off. I will talk about two of these diseases shortly. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I would like to introduce you to the human brain! Weighing about a pound and a half, it is made up of neurons connected to each other by vast networks of associative neurons that all connect to each other. Did you know that the adult brain contains 100 billion neurons? That's right, 100 billion neurons in this three-pound brain! I bet you didn't know that to produce all the ATP you need, your brain needs a constant supply of oxygen and glucose. The brain absorbs 20% of the body's entire blood supply to receive oxygen and glucose! After all this, I hope you can see how amazing the brain really is. The brain has many interesting features. On the outside of the brain there are the gyri, the mountains, and the sulci, the valleys. There is also a cerebrum and a cerebellum. The cerebrum is the largest part of the brain and completes the most complex brain functions. The cerebellum controls the center of the paper, the tremor and stiffness you may have, and will make you speed up. Due to Parkinson's disease, your lifestyle will change slightly. You will be forced to eat food rich in fiber and you will have to drink a lot of water to reduce constipation. You will also need to keep walking to keep your muscles strong, but you need to walk carefully so you don't hurt yourself. The body as a whole is wonderful, and when you study just one aspect of it, it blows your mind to think that God would care so much about us that He would put all of His power and creativity into creating us. Looking at even a brief glimpse of a part of your body shows that there is no way we can walk away from an explosion. We needed and still need an intelligent God to shape us and keep us alive.
