In our society today, we don't simply try to compare ourselves about religious opinions, marriage agreements, how to manage our families or dating, but after researching different views and perspectives When it comes to dating and marriage, India and the United States are a great example. Comparing ideas about courtship, romance, marriage, and divorce seem to be more practical, better for the people involved, or better for the society the couples belong to. it means different things to different people. It is an activity like two people in an “intimate” relationship (Love and Respect 2013). For Native Americans, dating is considered American, but there are restrictions due to their dating term in their culture. According to Indian tradition, parents make dating arrangements. Additionally, male and female Indian teenagers go out with a group of friends to get to know each other instead of a single date. Single dates are harder to get away with. (Happiness Gururajan 2011). Other beliefs in India in South Asia, answers strict dating rules are prohibitive and women have no choice to choose who they want to date or marry. This leads young young people in India to date and have love affairs in their parents' secrets because the arrangement that parents choose for their children, they seek different opinions on that spouse or they don't feel comfortable with the partner selective that their parents chose to date. However, in America, the completely opposite relationship begins with courtship. Some parents allow their children to date at a certain age and when they allow their children to date. In the United States, parents set ground rules when their children are dating, such as online dating, time limits on ending date night, personal information… middle of paper… that leads to income. Without a good education people would have difficulty finding a good job. In conclusion, courtship is not very prevalent in either culture, but it has different outcomes and perspectives on dating, divorce, and marriage that set the approach in India and other countries.
