It aims to improve agricultural productivity through enhanced moisture conservation and protective irrigation for the socio-economic development of rural populations. (Joshi et al., 2004). Integrated watershed management is one of the methods to work on environmental improvements. Integrated watershed management is a collection of target points that link disciplines (Karageorgis et al., 2005). However, in many cases interdisciplinary river basin management lacks practical applicability. My proposition is that in developing countries integrated watershed management is not really an interdisciplinary design approach. Therefore, the objective of this essay is to discuss watershed management which should be planned and implemented in an interdisciplinary manner
