IntroductionI am writing an assessment to find and understand the best ways to manage myself as a potential team leader. I will produce a questionnaire for my colleagues to answer on the importance of time management and its relationship to causes and symptoms of stress. I will use time and stress management techniques to help my colleagues by explaining how time management can help at work and in home life. Time management can make life so much easier, it's a tool we often overlook and don't realize how much time we actually waste. . Managing time effectively saves time and also allows you to make better decisions about what to say “yes” or “no.” There are many reasons for good time management, such as improving productivity in the workplace by setting goals and prioritizing work by placing jobs in order of importance. This can help employees by eliminating bad habits in the workplace and stopping “I'll do it later” procrastination. This also helps make home life less chaotic and encourages you to plan family time ensuring that time is put to good use. My goal is to show how we can minimize stress through time management which also helps improve team production and working relationships. I can give advice on how help for stress management is available and how it can be obtained. Time Management Strengths and Weaknesses I developed a small questionnaire to see what affected my colleagues in terms of stress to determine which stress and time management techniques would be most suitable. Responses were rated from 1 to 5 with 1 = relaxed, 2 = OK, 3 = irritated, 4 = annoyed, 5 = stressed Questions Colleagues 1 2 3 4 5 Total1. How does it feel to be interrupted? 3 4 3 ...... half of the paper ...... the tart can help you talk more. You could start with some simple recreational activities like exercise or hobbies and maybe even relaxing with a spa day. When you ask Romec for help at work you can talk to colleagues or have a 1-2-1 with your team leader and he will suggest other means of support. Romec has several ways to support their staff with healthcare support from AXA and CWU Union will also help you if you are a member. They also offer support called EAP which is set up to help with a range of issues at home and at work, but it's not just for employees but also for their immediate family members. This is a great program to help employees and is confidential, so even people who have difficulty talking to someone they know can get help easily. This is also available through external support such as Samaritans or ISMA (International Stress Management Association) in the UK.
