INTRODUCTIONWhat are media? According to the Oxford dictionary, media refers to mass communication. This means that media is something that is used for communication. There are two types of media: print media and electronic media. Before that, people always look to print media if they want to get information. However, today most people will choose electronic media as a tool for obtaining information. This is due to the fact that we live in the age of technology. Before we delve into print and electronic media, let me explain a little about the history of media. In fact, media started a long time ago. In the 15th century, the ancients used media to spread their faith and religion in the community. In almost seventy years there have been around twenty translations into German. However, some people also believe that media is spread from the institutional and economic level. Nowadays, technology has become more advanced. They had created more IT products. This will make it easier for people to get information. The world is just like at your fingertips. This situation has made print media less popular than electronic media. Only the older generation will continue to use print media. There are some differences between print and electronic media that can be discussed. Although both types of media have some differences, both can serve users the same purpose. Both provide information and entertainment. The user can learn about the world of information by reading the paper newspaper or the online newspaper. If users want to know the celebrity in some country, they just need to find the entertainment section. Additionally, both media outlets also provide... half of the paper... conducted a field experiment in which they introduced Internet access into homes and found that teenagers who spend much of their time surfing the net show more signs of depression than those who browsed less frequently and also showed increased stress and loneliness. CONCLUSION To summarize, both print and electronic media have their own set of features and characteristics that make them different from each other. Even though it has different features, both mediums offer the same purpose to the users. One of the purposes is to provide any information to users. Printed and electronic media also provide us with entertainment such as the world of artists. Furthermore, both mediums provide the message board to users who want to express their opinion. Furthermore, print and electronic media also provide us space for advertising of some companies or events.
