Kingdom psychology, which is the wisdom of God, calls Christian psychologists to a greater walk and relationship with the creator. It requires the psychologist to be in total obedience and submission to God. It also invites the Christian psychologist to “resist unbelief, to examine every thought, and to submit it completely to God” (2 Corinthians 10:5). In a field that has been alienated from God, the Christian psychologist is called to recreate his method of liberating the souls of this world separated by sin. In 2 Corinthians 10:3-6, the Christian is challenged to “walk in the flesh, but not war according to the flesh,” using God-given weapons, “powerful to destroy strongholds and everything that is contrary to the knowledge of God". For Christian psychologists, this can be very challenging as they try to fulfill the heavenly calling to save souls and still cooperate within the guidelines already in place.
