The book “How to Kill a Mockingbird” is in my opinion one of the easiest books to form an opinion on. Before I actually read the book, I had heard a lot about it: "It's about these kids who go on adventures, and it's boring, and also that it was a story based on racial prejudice." I'm grateful that I was actually able to form my own opinion and ideas about it. I believe the book should be kept in high school curricula because: The book provides information about what life was like during the Great Depression. The book highlights the social and racial division that once contained our country and contains numerous examples of ambiguity; everyone can form their own opinion and it can be easily discussed. My first reason, as I stated in my introduction, is that How to Kill a Mockingbird provides insight into what life was like during the Great Depression.
