ONCLUSIONThe world as we know it is in a terrible situation. He became evil, and wars and famine broke out, destroying homes, food sources, and even people. Even closer to home, nationwide, there are thousands of people dying of hunger. Organizations like Action Against Hunger and Feeding America play a key role in helping the world get back on track and helping those who have stopped getting up and walking. ACTIONS AGAINST HUNGER Action Against Hunger (AAH) is an international organization to end world hunger. They have over 4600 professional workers in over 40 countries around the world. Their main goal was to save malnourished children around the world. In this part of the organization they affect over 5 million people and then countless others in other relief branches. Last year alone they helped more than 7 million people end hunger and in numerous other areas, including clean water, new school buildings and relief after natural disasters (Action). AAH has numerous ways to get involved. One way that interested me is that anyone can donate their old vehicles to us or scrape them off and get a refund of up to $900. Plus the old car gets used to helping others when it is most useful. There are many other ways to participate, including donating shares monthly or even making a single donation. Anyone can do this via computer, phone, and even mail (Action). AAH has a rating of 4 out of 4 from Charity Navigator. They get 86% of their money from donations and fundraising and the charity ranks 4 out of 4 based on how they spend the money. 86% of their money goes to their effort while 12% goes to the people who work in the program and 2% of their proceeds go to... middle of the paper... not participating and helping distribute the money. food and help families in difficulty. They are a very responsible and intelligent organization. Organizations like this are necessary, last year alone 15.9 million people were helped and that was not yet all those who desperately needed these resources (Feeding). CONCLUSION Thanks to these organizations the world is slowly turning back from its evil habits. These two organizations have contributed in numerous ways, including providing shelter, food and even protection to those in need.
