Before it started I thought this was just another one of those movies where it's the most boring thing we've ever seen and I can barely pay attention because of how terrible it is AND. This was different for me, I guess because it was really good and I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I actually paid attention during this movie, it's not one of the ones where I was like that, it's cute, it's really good, it was more of a serious movie. Serious films aren't really my thing, I get bored and then I stop watching them because I can predict what happens. This movie wasn't like that at all because you can't really predict what happens, it keeps you guessing all the time and I like movies like that because they don't bore me. My three favorite scenes in The Color Purple written by Alice Walker and directed by Steven Spielberg are at the beginning with Celie and her sister Nettie among the flowers, when Sofia beats Harpo, and at the end when everyone is reunited. movie The Color Purple written by Alice Walker and directed by Steven Spielberg, the opening scene was one of my favorites because they were so happy together and it was just a really happy scene. I like this scene because it shows how happy Celie and Nettie were together and that those two were the only ones who were super happy with each other. When times got tough, it proved that they were there for each other and could make the best of any situation that arose. This is one of my favorites because it reminds me of me and my sister because we are close and would do anything for each other, this scene really makes you happy and makes you feel good about life and everything that makes you feel like if this scene is almost...... half of the paper......y. My three favorite scenes in The Color Purple written by Alice Walker and directed by Steven Spielberg is at the beginning with Celie and her sister Nettie in the flowers, when Sofia beats Harpo and at the end when everyone is reunited. While I didn't get to watch the ending completely and would really like to watch the whole thing at some point without pausing between scenes, I think I'd get more out of it this way because you lose some details when you watch it split into chunks like that. I really thought this movie was interesting and it was one of the best we saw in class. I really couldn't predict the ending of this movie, it went in so many directions it was hard to keep up with it. I was rooting for Celie the whole time hoping she would finally get her freedom and hoping that one day she would just be happy.
