Topic > The Near Future: Reversing the Aging Process - 1784

The world is steadily advancing with each passing day. What many people don't realize is that cloning happens every day all around them, in nature. A clone just means that it is an exact genetic copy of the original DNA organism. However, with new and modern technology, scientists like Dr. Richard Seed have been able to take cloning further than previously thought possible. Dr. Richard Seed used studies and experiments with the ambition of reversing the aging process (Simon 1). Although cloning is a controversial topic, it can benefit many with little or no harm to others. Although cloning has been around for many years, it is still relatively new and unknown to science. With scientists and modern technology aiding its progression, cloning is promised to be a very important part of the future for the benefit of humanity. With ongoing studies and experiments, cloning is starting to be considered the next big medical advance. Scientists believe that cloning is the future cure for all diseases in the world. The average person carries eight faulty genes that contribute to health problems. Cloning will be able to prevent and cure many major diseases that are a major cause of death every year. However, many people have a negative attitude towards cloning because they believe that scientists will clone complete human beings and harvest the necessary organs and body tissues when needed. But what most people don't know is that scientists are able to clone specific organs, tissues, nerves, bones and cells. Besides the fact that there are always risks when having surgery, cloning could make the post-operative procedure much easier. For example, many patients who undergo surgery and receive a heart transplant are... at the center of the article... questioned philosophers of all ages, in tracing the causes of the disease to its origins, in correlating the wide range of knowledge reserves that can be rapidly available for the prevention and treatment of diseases: these are our ambitions. (President's Bioethics Council 1)Cloning has made great strides in science in recent decades. Although it is a natural part of the world, scientists have taken a simple idea and expanded it beyond what was thought possible. Although cloning faces many challenges, scientists like Dr. Richard Seed continue their quest to perfect cloning for the benefit of the world. Cloning, a controversial topic meant to do harm, but simply misunderstood. The fact is that cloning could improve life more than we realize, or as Dr. Richard Seed put it, cloning will bring “humanity one step closer to God”..”
