Topic > Some of the causes of divorce - 764

A beautiful bond that unites two people through marriage can suddenly break and turn into a divorce. Couples sometimes face some difficulties throughout their lives and have to make decisions. Some handle their problems well and manage to resolve their arguments to prevent a serious decision like divorce from occurring, while others struggle to find a way to resolve their problems that make divorce their only option. Divorce means breaking the marriage vows that a couple had taken at the time of marriage. It ends the relationship the couple had together. The causes of divorce vary greatly from one couple to another, but many people agree that infidelity, lack of communication, and financial problems are the three leading causes of divorce today. For starters, one of the main causes of divorce is infidelity. Infidelity occurs when a husband or wife decides to secretly replace their spouse with another. In other words it is known as cheating. The reason for this is that after the spouse finds out that his partner is cheating on him, he feels that he can no longer trust the partner. When the partner discovers this infidelity, he or she definitely experiences these mixed and negative emotions, which are often the reason for a divorce (Meyer, n.d.). One of the emotions that the person feels is anger. A person would definitely be angry after finding out about the affair because it is considered a violation of the vows they took when they got married and a harm to the marriage and relationship (Meyer, n.d.). Another emotion your spouse experiences is denial and rejection. A person feels that they are no longer wanted and is rejected when they discover that someone else has replaced them (Meyer, n.d.)....... middle of paper...... money now or save it for the future . Additionally, many couples have not talked about their financial situation before getting married and often do not consider talking about the role money plays in their relationship and life (Lee, 2013). As a result, couples discover these things after they get married and realize that they will not be happy and successful due to financial problems. This is the time when couples decide to divorce. Furthermore, some couples do not like to behave as a couple and prefer to spend their money separately (Lee, 2013). They don't like to help each other when it comes to finances. This situation often leads to divorce, because couples are unable to achieve their future goals, as they hide their financial assets from each other (Lee, 2013). Therefore, these financial problems tend to cause problems between couples and eventually lead to divorce.
