Bono became friends with a group called "The Lypton Village". He is said to have been nicknamed "Bono Vox" by his friend Gavin Friday, a member of Lypton Village. Bono initially disliked the nickname; however, when he learned that it translated to “beautiful voice,” he accepted it. Since... middle of the paper...... he helps the less fortunate in Africa and through his support of various organizations. Furthermore, Bono definitely has passion for the work he does and for the people. For example, he has said that he wants to eradicate AIDS in Africa by 2015.
