They are genetically modified, force-fed harmful chemicals, blinded, scalded and mutilated. How not to oppose this terrible cruelty? Animal testing should be banned because it is cruel, unnecessary, inaccurate and expensive. The first reason why animal testing should be banned is basic: it is cruel and unnecessary. Approximately 17-22 million animals are used for testing in the United States each year.
